Scrapbooking With a Card Kit

Thought i'd share an idea of how you can use the With Love Valentine Card Kit to create a scrapbook page or two or three.

It's really this simple... grab some of the die cuts and sentiments included in the kit and create a page like this one. All you need to add is a piece of paper for the base of the scrapbook page.

Add some ink to all the edges of the die cuts and sentiments. Use a little twine and ribbon from the kit for finishing touches.

Love to Make Love Cards... From Scraps

After hours of die-cutting, punching and cutting for my Valentine Card and Tag kits I had a large pile of lovely red scraps and it made me wonder how I could use them.

These punched strips caught my eye in the pile. I trimmed some other solid colored strips to fit behind the punched strips and glued them to the back. For you, find some scrap paper strips and punch them with a heart punch. You'll have the heart punches to use for another project.

To make a card I folded the cardstock and attached some patterned paper. Then I just attached my punched scrap strips to the card front.

I finished off my card with a bow, sentiment and charm.

Now go have a look at your scrap stash and see if you can make yourself something from it.

Happy New Year

The new year is here... My Chirstmas tree is still up and my new 2014 calendar is filling up with plans and goals and lists and all my big dreams for 2014.

But what's realy exciting is that my favorite crafting holiday of the year is quickly approaching and I really LOVE to create and share Valentine kits! I LOVE helping creative friends like you shower their lovlies with handmade gifts from the heart.

So here is a little of what it looks like around my craft room these days!

Big piles of red, pink and polka dot scraps. I even went nuts and created something from the scrap pile! I may need rescuing soon... I just am in a creative bliss! New kits coming January 11th..
