It's going to be a wild a crazy ride this week. I have no idea what to tell you to expect from my blogging. But I will tell you that I've decided to blog each day and share with you all the crazy, stressful, hair pulling moments and wonderful moments that happen all along the way. I have a to do list that is still longer than any human could (well at least this human) could accomplish.
Coping: No two ways about it Next Wednesday I will be on a plane jetting off to North Carolina. And i've come to a place that i've just accepted that whatever is done is done and what ever is not my Mom will do for me. Right Mom? So if I don't get to my second by second play book that I usually leave for her when I leave town everything will be just fine. I'm pretty sure that she throws it in a drawer somewhere the second I walk out the door anyway. Right Mom? I mean she raised me and I never even got arrested or anything. I will be fine, hubby will be fine, my mom will make sure the girls are fine, and my mom... well she'll be tired. But she's retired so she can sleep anytime.
Getting Creative:I have ALOT of kits to still work on for the classes at Inspired. But here is a little fun you can follow along with. Something i've been wanting to work on for a long long time but just haven't. I have to make a baby book. An entire baby album... by Sunday... 6 days... 24 pages! There is no "I'll owe you this one in a month or so" because this album is getting hand carried all the way to Ukraine by my Aunt for my Cousins new baby due in a few weeks. So if you have a baby gift album to make or want to make one please join me and i'll share with you how i'm doing it.
Saturday I bought an album and yesterday afternoon I came up with a color scheme and cut down the paper to 8.5X11 (the size I chose for this album).
If you want to join in go grab an album and a pick color scheme. Trust me when I say pick a color scheme. You'll be SOOOO much happier with the results. If you cut down your paper save the extra pieces for tomorrows step.
Funny Stuff: Today Kylah came in the bathroom while I was showering, I had soap all over my face (she has fantastic timing). And she yells (because she is 10 and has no volume control). "Mom, my eyes turned all yellow" I hadn'tlaid eyes on her yet this morning... so I reply "Your eyes are yellow? The whites of your eyes?... "Yep, they're all yellow" and she runs out of the room. My first thought was of this girl I knew in my 20's who came to work with hepatitis. "OMG, how would she get hepatitis, I don't evenknow how you get hepatitis"... so I rinse, nowhere near what I needed to do in the shower and jump out. Wrap my towel around me and rush in to the bathroom to find her looking at her eyes in the mirror. "Oh mom look they turned yellow last night, they're so pretty"... "kylah I asked you if the whites of your eyes were yellow"... "No you didn't" ... "Yes I did and they are as white as ever and your eyes are still green"... "No they're NOT!!!"... "And i'm not EATING another TURKEY sandwich for lunch EITHER!!!" ... Is she crazy? I'll let you be the judge :)
