Blogging with Authentique

Last week I blogged some cards over on the Authentique blog for their week featuring Thermo Web products... You can check out the whole teams cards HERE and below are my projects.

I made these cards specifically for my Grandma for Grandparents day and for Fathers Day. I'll tell you it feels good to already have these done and not be working on them 10 minutes before I leave for a get together.

Fell in love with Thermo Web products all over again too... perfect amount of sticky and pull-up-ability.

New Classes

Everything Embossed II

Class begins Tuesday April 23rd... Class is self paced so you can take as long as needed.

Ready to move beyond the basics of embossing with your embossing folders? In this class you will learn many advanced resist techniques, embossing on different mediums, heat embossing, coloring with masks and more, ways to incorporate your die cut and rubber stamp stash and even some ideas for home décor and food uses. Lessons are suitable for all levels and don't worry if you haven't taken Everything Embossed I, you'll be just fine :)

Sizzix Die Cutting Basics

This class is ongoing all spring, but the last day to enroll is coming up next week! It’s time to get out that Big Shot, Big Kick, Vagabond or whatever Sizzix machine you have and explore the world of die-cutting. I’d love to share with you all I know about die-cutting and the amazing things you can do with your machine. Learn the basics of operation and troubleshooting to get the most out of your machine. Finally a new post and new kits

My blogging has seriously been lacking lately. My mommy life is busier than ever (have I mentioned I have two teenage girls). My work life is busier than ever and i'm always needing to prioritize which projects are going to get my attention.

Thats why the below message hits so close to home for me. I think I need to shove everything off my desk and grab one of my own kits. This is how simple it can be.

Below if the new April  kit. I love it's delicate doily designs, and all the adorable embellishments I found to coordinate with this kit.

Sister Love

This past weekend was the girls spring break... It was super mello, everyone was tired from the tough curriculum this year and the sports (did I mention I have a pole vaulter)... who knew. So there was lots of sleeping in and lounging around at Grandmas house, at our house, in the sunshine. It was amazingly restful and so needed.

This left lots of time for me to get creative... I finished a ton of projects for CHA coming up in July! Here's a couple shots I edited and printed for some scrapbook pages I made.

If you've been reading my blog for a while.... can you believe how big they have got? It's crazy how these kids grow! My little one is closing the gap fast on her sister and she jsut may pass her up yet! They are a ton of fun and a TON of work.
