Mission Inn

You know those places that are right in your own backyard that you've never been to? This weekend I went to one of those places for me. Well its not really "right" in my back yard since its about 45 minutes down the freeway with the worst traffic in probably all of the world. But on a sunday morning at 7am it takes 45 minutes.

The Mission Inn in Riverside was such a pretty place. Everything about it is just beautiful, so historic.

Can't get better than upcycling... I grabbed a few things on my work table today and made this card. See that cute background? Well thats the really sweet packaging from some Prima flowers. I happened upon this beautiful rhinestone button on my work table too!

I was lucky to be chosen to be a contributor to this new idea book coming out this summer. There are some great techniques in here and I can't wait to see it in print!

 
I'll share again when it is available. If you want to learn a little more about coloring with your embossing folders, you just might find that in here.

Card Give Away Day

Goodbye Explorer 9 update... hello my computer works again! I dream of being a tech wizard just about as often as I dream to get everything on my to do list done. Thats alot and the possibility of it ever happening is slim.

The good news is, is that I have this beautiful card to give away to someone lucky! So many favorites on this card; a tree, bright colors, My Minds Eye paper, rosettes, and a touch of back. Oh and bows of seam binding and happy sentiments.

I'm trying to blog... really really am. Its not going so well. I bet it has something to do with this wonderful new explorer 9 update I got. Nothing seems to be working right with my computer.See... It won't even let me move to a new line. AAAARRRRGGG! So, i'll just say "hi" for now and i'll try in a little while from another computer! Hope your Monday is going better!
