Seeing Things Again
Looked out my window the other day and saw this sign in my yard. It's been there a long long time. Like since the girls were little. But you know how sometimes something that has been around a long time just starts to blend in to the background and you don't notice it as often. But when you do notice it you are flooded with thoughts of how special it is.
This week has been full of those experiences. Just doing ordinary stuff. Fully being aware of nurturing a family and raising good daughters.
So here's to taking in the constants in our lives and recognizing them.

Card Give Away Day
Been thinking about hearts so much lately. I've been using them is so many of my projects. Thinking about having a really pure heart. Fulfilling my hearts desires. Aligning my heart with my family, work and inner self.
This week I had planned to do a little work and alot play time day trips with the girls all week. Well vacation got moved up, opportunities presented themselves, and a little work turned in to alot of work to be done. I had no intention of changing any one of my plans with the girls so i've been working in the wee morning hours and late in to the night. The funny thing is that I don't mind at all... i'm a little tired but mostly i'm so so happy to be doing something I love so much and making a living for my family with my creative biz. So work wise my heart is totally invested and i'm so so happy.

Two peas in a pod here... Kylah and DW... mischievous, full of personality, love nibbles, playful, and a bit on the not mature side.
4 weeks of horse camp are over and this week I have the girls almost all to myself. Early morning work days for me and then some staycation activities planned for us. The Zoo, the Fair, the Beach, the Pool, and who knows what else. Then next week we're off on our real vacation.
This weekend I did a ton of reorganizing and weeded out a bunch of old un-needed stuff. I have this overwhelming feeling that there is just to much "stuff ". In my craft room, my house, my life. So i'll at least have some photos of the reorganized craft room later this week.
I'm feeling tons better... thank you for all your well wishes. See you tomorrow for card give away day!

Well Hello
So glad you stopped my for a visit. I'm not feeling super hot lately, got a bit of a summer cold. But you know a little cold never gets a mom down. I'm just a little slower than usual, even in my blog posts.

What would you think
If I told you I just finished up making some christmas cards and valentine projects.... such is the life when you work for a mfg that works a year or so in advance. Really pushes you to the limit of creativity, say you need to by some conversation hearts for some candy bags. Or christmas garland... you better just hope you have some in your attic.
Here's one of my favorite cards from this months Card Kit . Drew this art and love the way it came out (hold on i'm patting myself on the back) . I feel like this is a launching point for some more to match.
