It's been a few weeks since my last healthy goodness post. The end of the school year is always such a busy time and that makes for lots of interruptions in our routine. Not to mention the extended daylight in which my girls want to gallivant around the neighborhood till 30 seconds before bedtime. Playing tag, hide-n-seek, capture the flag, and chanting some new camp song about boomerangs. You know the camp songs... the ones that get louder and louder with each verse. My neighbors without kids must hate us!
Anywaysssss... last night I made an attempt at a half way healthy meal that turned out pretty delish. The strawberries are so good right now with a few bananas. Corn cut from the cob with broccoli. Chicken scantly breaded and oven baked. Yummy...
Looks great, Deena. Try Panko breadcrumbs some time. Lighter and crunchier. I'm craving good berries....stocking up and freezing them for winter.

This looks soooooooooooooooo yummy! I can't wait to sink my teeth into some watermelon, I have been waiting for the crop to reach our grocery stores. It sucks living in 4 season climate because you literally can't find some fruits until summertime when the crops travel across country & finally reach areas like ours in WA state. Childhood in Calif. was great because all fruits & veggies are always accessable in any season. Have a healthy weekend!
