The other day I asked you who your favorite paper company was. I'd love to share some more of my favorites. Mostly because I have no photos to share with you, because there was no sun today (boo hoo). I have bad lighting in my house when there is no sun, and I really like naturally lit photos. So the super cute new bday card I have with matching mini purse will have to wait till another day. Oh, yeah... I was going to show you some of my fav's... Here we go

Love it! And trust me it is sooooo much cuter in person.... Many projects coming soon with this line.

Card Maker Magazine & Winner

Just got my copy of Card Maker Magazine January and had a couple cards in this issue. Still feels funny seeing my work in print. If you happen to subscribe online there are a few more bonus feature cards online.

 Today my Mother in Law is treating us to lunch out. She's taking pity on my poor hungry girls (you know I never feed them). Really it is a big treat for me too because i'm currently having a contest with myself to see how many days I can go without swiping my debit card.

Gingerbread Houses

We made these Christmas Eve to leave for Santa. The girls wanted to leave something unexpected... not the usual cookies.

Gingerbread houses are not easy to build !

Handmade Chirstmas Cards

You know what they say about the pedlars son never having shoes. I'm the card maker that just about let the season slip by without making any holiday cards for my family and friends. But Saturday night I caught a little bit of the guilties. Yesterday morning I set to work on some cards. They had to be simple and I had to recruit some help. I pulled out some cardstock and printed out a sentiment on the outside. Flipped them over in the printer and printed the insides. Meanwhile hubby was trimming the photos we printed at home and the red mats made from some scraps I had. I added some glitter glue, the matted photo and that was it. Simple simple simple... just my style this year! now they are in the mail and I am so happy  I took the time to do it!

Gifts for Friends

Last night we made baked gifts for the girls friends. Feels good to give simply and from the heart. Even though Kylah didn't speak to me for 12 minutes because she couldn't keep a candy cane for herself. It was a lovely 12 minutes.

 
I have nothing else to do but play around with funny graphics on the computer. Yep, all my shopping, wrapping, kits, laundry, emails and dinner. Yep, all done! So you can see how I have all kinds of time to blog and do funny stuff with bad pictures of my girlies.

OK, gotta go and eat my share of the left over brownies.
