This weekend we took off at about 4am on Friday morning to head to Monterey. We went to the Aquarium which is incredible if you've never been! We also spent lots of time at the beach which was a very bountiful shelling day for us girls that collect shells. We also hit two missions on the trip one in Carmel (kylahs 4th grade mission) and San Luis Obispo (Niguels 4th grade mission). Really feel blessed to have so many beautiful things to see and do so close to home!
I turned my camera over to Kylah at both missions and it was pretty comical to see the pictures tonight. She must have taken a picture of every flower at both missions. I have ALOT of flower pictures! But the funniest by far was the photo of Randy doing the bigfoot walk through the center of the mission courtyard. Big laughs! Hope you had a great weekend too... Smiles
Sounds like heaven. Love the pictures! Kylah is a gifted photog! Glad to see you had fun and enjoyed the much needed break from day to day stressors. Can't wait to see more pic's. I ran lots of errands, and finally went to the urgent care center last night, because my blood pressure has spiked to a very unhealthy level 180/110 despite losing 65 lbs and daily exercise of 1.5 - 2 miles of walking. They put me on blood pressure med's ( a small sample dose) immediately. I finally feel better this morning, but need to follow up with my primary doctor today for long term plans and med's.

Sounds like a fun weekend! I love that aquarium. I haven't been in years so I think I need to plan a trip to take the kids up there. Any tips on photographing the fish in the aquariums?
Well, I spent today (Sunday) at urgent care and then at the ER with my little guy. He woke up with labored breathing. The urgent care doc didn't like what he saw/heard and thought it was pneumonia or flu so he sent us to the ER. Luckily Preston didn't have to be admitted to the hospital. He has croup and received two breathing treatments and a dose of steroids. We'll continue the treatments at home and they say he should be good to go in about three days. We'll pray that he doesn't have a relapse b/c the ER is not a fun place to hang out on a beautiful Sunday!
Have a good week! Can't wait to see what you create this week!
