My good friend Steph has decided to walk the Avon 39.3 mile walk for Breast Cancer. Read more about the team she is walking for Here. I'm going to be making a donation myself and thought if I can sell a few of my kits I can add it to my donation.
So for Today (Saturday) only click on my sidebar links on "Cute Kits to Buy" for every kit/item sold I'll donate 25% of the sale to Steph's support fund.
Have a great weekend... Smiles

I have some birthday cards to send this weekend so this morning I sat down to crank out a few cards. A while back I bought these felt coasters in the dollar bin at Michaels. It's the yellow part of the card, Love felt and I love that detailed swirly flower design. I got some in green as well with a slightly different pattern. Next time you're at Michaels see if they still have some, they worked perfect for this simple card!
Thanks to everyone that alerted me that I forgot to tell you where I bought airline tickets to. It's not Michigan, Hawaii, or Texas although I would love to visit all of you. My Tickets are to Seattle again this summer. This year we will have a car (Last year we headed to Canada and spent 12 days with no car, but we used every other mode of transportation known to man) This year we are going to go to Portland (never been there), then on through Idaho to Montana where we will stay for a bit and see Yellowstone (since Niguel barfed all through the last visit), then we'll head up to Glacier National Park and then into parts of Canada on our way back to Seattle.
Hope you had a nice week and have a good weekend!

First let me say "Hi" to Susanna and all her girls from Card of the Week. Susanna has been super awesome and linked many of my projects over the last couple of weeks! When you visit please sign up for my email list (top right of my blog) so I can send you even more ideas when I finish my newsletter.
Last week I shared a little about things that inspire me. While my mom and I were sitting in my craft room chatting today I spied this on my cabinet. Kylah is a master with the clay. I have shoe boxes just stuffed with clay treasures.
I thought "there's a color scheme I love but don't use much" so I grabbed this wood shape I bought at Reflections and covered it with some paper. My Mom said "what are you going to do with that" and I told her I had no idea. Less than 20 minutes later this is what I was inspired to make.
Love that I got to use more of my Grandma's buttons. And later while my Mom played Wii with the girls I made a card to go along.

Wednesdays are a down day for me creatively. The girls have short day every Wednesday and I usually do my shopping, cleaning, laundry, errands, and all the other mommy stuff. Along with all that today i'm doing some research... yesterday I found out that my iron level is near critically low and my iron reserves also nearly completely depleted. I am also vitamin D deficient, odd since i'm in the sun all the time. Maybe this is why I have been feeling like sleeping all the time. I took my new iron supplements this morning on an empty stomach (as directed) and about 1 hour later things well, lets just say it didn't agree with me. I'm fine and i'm looking forward to getting my levels back to normal in a few months and feeling like myself again. On a happier note my Mom is coming over today and we will celebrate our belated Mothers Day! Have a sweeeeeeeeeeet day!

It's only Tuesday and I am already ready for the weekend. I received the last of the supplies for my May kits so i'm putting the final touches on those today and then cleaning up a BIG mess in the 'ol craft room. If you're local don't forget to sign up for my Creative Cards Class next Tuesday night at Timeless.
A couple weeks ago I scored some discontinued dies from Sizzix and today I copied this card I did a while back. A reminder to just "Enjoy" What ever it is "Enjoy" it. Life is to short to not enjoy any moment!
I forgot to post a winner of last weeks Card Give Away [email protected] shoot me an email with your address, you're the winner!
Hope you enjoy your day! Smiles...

Last week you saw the card set I posted for Kylahs teacher. If you missed it check it out Here. This weekend I worked on a little gift set for Niguels teacher. LOVE this new paper from Imaginice, i'll be using more of this for sure!
A little organizer from the dollar bin at Target. Dressed up with a little paper and ribbon. A bookmark that has a plain piece of cardstock on the back for Niguel to draw a picture or write a note to her teacher, and a Starbucks cup decorated with more of that sweet paper that we'll put a gift card in.
*edited... A friend that works at Starbucks got the cups for me. But I would surely think that if you flashed a nice smile any good hearted Starbucks employee would give you one. Surely they would, its for a Teacher and all!
I had a really nice mothers day. The girls made me the cutest cards (handmade of course) Kylah said my eyes were like brown stars and my hair was like the American flag (that means it waves in the wind). Niguel said I was open minded (pretty good coming from a tween). I got a hand, foot and neck massage from both of them. They drew me pictures, they gave me quiet coupons, took me to dinner and then we watched Bride Wars. It was a great day! Hope all you Mothers had a beautiful day too! Smiles!

Saturday Morning! Yesterday my hubs and I cleaned the house. It was so nice to wake up this morning and have no cleaning to do. Well except some laundry, the fish bowls and the email box. But as I listen to the washer and have a glass of tea I thought i'd blog a bit! I've been working hard to post fun creative ideas everyday and my readership has really grown over the past month. If you're reading this I wanted to say how happy I am that you are here! If you like what you see and read here chances are someone else you know will too...you could help me out by sharing my site with anyone you know that may like crafty girlie stuff too. Feel free to copy a link to my blog and share away! And there you have it, my shameless request for help :) Luv ya guys!
This little birdie just wanted to come out of photo storage and say "HI" today. I did this for Sizzix a while ago and am thinking about it as an inspiration piece for a teacher appreciation gift.
Hi Betty! Betty wanted to know a little more about my version of the Clip it up. I couldn't find my pictures to repost but take a look at it Here. First I loved the idea of the Clip it up, the cost was the first thing that got me, but more importantly I really didn't have a place to put it out. But in my craft room I do have two niches where I stash stuff behind curtains. I bought a tension rod and drapery clips. I threaded on the clips and put the tension rod behind the curtain and clipped on my supplies. Viola'!
Have a wonderful weekend. I'll be back Monday with all my teacher appreciation projects!

Hello Visitors from Kara's Cupcakes! Welcome to Be Creative... please bookmark my site and visit again soon. Also for updates, please sign up for my email list {top right corner of my blog}.
I almost swore off cupcakes after so many cupcake projects but I couldn't resist after I read my daughters teachers favorites... Pink, Blue and cupcakes. So for Teacher Appreciation week I whipped this up. The tin lunch box is old packaging from a K& Co. Product. I covered it with paper and decorated it with a hand drawn/cut cupcake. Then I made up a quick set of 8 note cards to put inside.
Hope you have a wonderful day and a nice weekend!
