Eating more fruits and veggies leaves room in the diet for these bad boys!
My handsdown favorite! I made up a batch of these two days ago and just snached the last one for myself, someone was nice enough to save one for me. This weekend I going to a charity crop at the Red Bee with Steph. Looking forward to it, hopefully I can come up with some finished creative stuff to show next week!

Here is our newest favorite dinner side dish. A big fruit salad, any kind of fruit! I'm currently looking for a veggie companion. Any ideas?

First things first I vow never to post that I will post later, or in just a bit, or tomorrow. I will never again blog a time that I will post something. It never happens... then all I think about is that I haven't blogged. So I promise to never leaving you hanging, expecting anything. I needed this long weekend so badly... I got so much done! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Oh so I bet you want to know where we're going on vacation... Brandy got it right, we are heading to CANADA!!! We'll fly to Seattle, then drive to Olympic National park, ferry to Victoria, BC, ferry to Vancouver and then I think were going to take the train to Whistler. I'm really excited about this trip, i've always wanted to go to British Columbia. But honestly right now the planning is taking up a huge part of any free time that I have. If you've ever been to B.C. please email me if you have any advice. I am tring out priceline for the first time and I got a hotel in Seattle for our first night and last night of the trip. Its a 4 star that the hotel had listed as $309/night. I got it for $69 plus tax for a total of $89 a night. I was so thrilled! I'll keep you posted as I find deals... I wish there was a web site out there that had travel itineraries. Somethings that said we flew here for $$$, we stayed here there # is, we did this trip at this time and there # is. We then drove to here, it stunk wer should have gone here, then we ate here got this and it was yummy, go here to buy the best souvenirs, then watch the sunset here. The planning is exhausting and the cost of things is outrageous. I have a very specific detailed budget... I do not want to come home in debt. I've traveled without a budget before and boy have I been sorry after wards. I like to know just exactly what i'll spend before I leave and then know exactly what i'll splurge on. This trips splurge will be for the best whale watching trip we can take.

I also added two new sidebars; my crazy girls because they say so many funny things I want to remember and share and Right now a place to add quick updates that don't warrant a post of thier own, or when I don't have time to post, it will be easier to do this remotely.
Here is my scrapbook page from my creative weekend last weekend. I did the photo collage for the first time in photo shop. Nine photos on one page. Just a bunch of fun things we did to beat the heat when it was 102 degrees. Randy worked on the truck, Omars exotic birds, cleaning the scrap room, new sandals for vacation, playdough, a birthday for Sally and Tige, a visit to Ky's Saloon (salon).

Since I am behind in getting ready for my class tomorrow I have no time to post pictures of my creative weekend project. I also have no business blogging, but I thought since I don't have time to tell you all about where we are going on vacation, lets play a little game and you tell me where you think it is.
Pre children I would run across this in a second and never give it a thought, but with kids????
And this will probably give it away, but if we see one of these it will make my LIFE and Ky's too!

I know my blog needs some lovin'. I'll try to update tomorrow with what i've been up to. Today we had a pretty awesome indoor day, it was so stinkin' hot! I took pictures all day and I want to make something creative with them tomorrow. Tomorrow I think we'll stay in as well. We're making due with a tightened budget. But we are discovering toys and stuff we haven't played with in a long time. We're saving for our vacation, i'll tell you about it tomorrow as well. Have a good night!

I just stopped by for one second... I have to go get a present for a bday party, like ten minutes ago and get ready for a gymnastics performance. Yesterday was National Scrapbook Day, it was a great day spent with a wonderful friend!!! Go HERE to see what we did, and later tonight i'll post some better pictures of my pages!
