Moms off = house is mess

After several weekends in a row of working I am taking this weekend off. My sink is full of dishes and filthy lunch boxes, there are at least six pairs of dirty socks on the stairs, a backpack in the middle of the kitchen floor with books spilling out of it, a pair of sandals in the living room, unmade beds (not mine, I draw the line there... it MUST be made), a bowl from something on the table next to the fish, crayons and markers all over the kitchen table. I did clean up the dog barf (sorry). The really funny thing is no one else seems to care, hhhhmmmmmmmmm..... its kind of fun to observe. I'm also officially not cooking this weekend. Here's a little gem I wanted to share, I found this on the kitchen counter the other day.

Just a Note (In Full Bloom)

Tuesday May 6^th

6:30-8:30pm $23 (Class or Kit)

Just in time for Mothers Day. The second in what I hope is becoming another successful class series. Make two Flower shaped boxes, each hold a set of 8 note cards and envelopes. What a unique and thoughtful gift this would make for yourself, mother, sister, or friend.

Here's how you can get a spot in class or a kit.

If you live nearby, out of respect to my store I ask that you sign up through Timeless Treasures, and attend class that night, if you can't attend you are TOTALLY welcome to get a kit and instructions.

Call 949-888-7151 tell the person taking your reservation if you will just be picking up a kit the day following class.

If you live out of the area I will take orders personally for kits, shipping's on me for this one. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested. I will ship kits on Wednesday April 30th so you will get them in time for mothers day. But I have a few done now, so it could be sooner.

The cards sit in the box between the flowers. I know thats not shown real well so heres another picture of the cards in the box. The cards come with clear mailable envelopes. This class was introduced on Tuesday and I already have 13 sign ups (very cool). So if you are interested please sign up or email me right away, since I do have limited supplies. tiding you over again

Hi everyone, I made it to today. It feels great! The business of Monday and Tuesday are behind me, and Wednesday is feeling great. Today I also finished up another big project for Sizzix. It was one of those word books, and it took a Looooooooooonnnnnngggg time. It felt great to finish it up. After they post it on the web I'll send you a link. I'm just not sure what I'm allowed to post and what I can't.

Last night at Timeless Treasures was alot of fun. I met some new people and visited with all my very valued customers (friends). We'll be seeing some new faces in class in the coming weeks. And the second in my series of note card classes already has a great response, so much so that I need to get downstairs right now ans see just how many people I can accommodate. I will post that picture tomorrow.

Buying time

This week is already off to a super busy start. I know I haven't been posting that often. I'll try to do a little better after Wednesday. Till then here are a few tidbits to tide you over...

Looking for some fun new ideas? Pick yourself up one of these... The newest issue of Home & Heart formerly Homegrown Hospitality. Its on the newsstand now. I've seen it at Von's, Pavillions, Michaels, Joanns, Barnes & Noble, your local scrapbook store and I think even Walmart has it as well as many more i'm sure. You will love all that you find within the pages. This is  Stephs magazine and its entire future depends on the sales of this issue. So hit the pavement people and pick up one for yourself and at least one more for a little mothers day gift or just for a friend, You'll  be happy you did!

Tomorrow i'll be busy making signs and buttons for another rally on Tuesday. Here is a picture of us from the front page of the OC register last Tuesday. That is me with the pink "No Budget Cuts" sign and the tan pants. Trust me I spared you the other fabulous picture they took of me while I was talking... at least I wasn't eating!

Unfortunately I am going to miss the big rally at Mission Viejo High School on Tuesday because I will be at Timeless Treasures for our spring class preview. So on your way home from the rally stop by and see me at Timeless! I'll be there till 9pm... then I'll be asleep, trust me after the next two days I'll need it!
