Happy World Card Making Day!
Where have I been you ask???? Well lets just say that time has been passing really quickly. Today when I logged on I couln't believe it had been nearly a month since my last post. So many times I have vowed to keep up more and post more often. However my family has this need to eat, be driven to school, to have a homework supervisor, to have clean clothes, there have been a tons of deadlines (one right after the other) it has seemed and on and on and on. Nothing that every person that reads this blog doesn't have. But I have to tell you that I have been feeling pretty blah lately. I have been zapped big time by the low energy virus. I know that if I got a little more exercise and ate a little better that would help but I have been here before and this seems like something more than the basics. I'll be checking into getting some blood test and a physical next week. You can never be to safe.
Anyways... Today make some cards. It feels so wonderful to receive and give a handmade card. Theres nothing like using your personal creativity to put in a little extra effort and make it from your heart. Over the last five and a half years I have spent alot of time developing a card class at Timeless Treasures. Every month I teach a Creative Cards class that has become like a family to me. Every month there are those who I see every couple of months, those that are new comers, sometimes my friends or neighbors and those that never miss a class "my regulars". I appreciate each one of them for coming to spend their time with me every month. If you want to join our little family call Timeless and sign up for one of my upcoming classes. I'll update my sidebar "my classes" but here are the next two dates. Tuesday October 9th (Christmas Cards) 6:30-8:30pm and the following Tuesday October 16th (Creative Cards) 6:30-8:30. Come help us celebrate World Card Making Day all month! Go Here for some great ideas! And here is one from me from last months class. I'll be making some new ones tonight but all day I have been putting together 40 plus kits for next weeks Christmas Card class.
More to come tomorrow. I already have something lined up to post. Now go get creative!
soooooo glad that you are back to blogging...I gave your class a little shout out yesterday!

Yeah, Welcome Back Deena!!! I love a new post- I check your blog a few times a week, and was excited to see a new post!!! Very cool that you feel fulfilled creating such beautiful cards- you are helping to make each person who receives one of these cards' day brighter just knowing that they are receiving something with a personal touch- that Hallmark cannot provide!
Also, yes get your bloodwork tested, it never ceases to amaze me what my bloodwork tells me. Last year it told me I was diabetic, no wonder I didn't feel good for so long! Wish I'd known sooner. Let us know what your findings are. Take Care.
