Settling back in Day 11,12,13,& 14 of my 21 day Journal

You know that Johnny Cash song "I've been everywhere man". Thats what I felt like last week. I'm working on a page for it now. Will post as soon as I get pictures for it. We drove 2, 395 miles averaged about 5-6 hours a day in the car. Covered lost of territory. Oregon is beautiful. If I could drop the Umpqua river behind my house I would be a happy camper. River after beautiful river up there. Picture Randy and Niguel fishing and me and Ky riding our horses. What a life it would be. But I missed my little planned community of Rancho. Especially my "circle"! I saw alot of Overalls and suspenders which made us laugh because how often do you see that in the OC. Theres nothing wrong with it but seemed alien to us. Here are my pages from my 21 day journal. I was able to get the quotes on the road and did the journalng and did the art when I got home. Catching up. 7 days to go for me. Also a page from my weight loss journal a goal I met a few weeks back and just got to the page while I was up in Oregon. Enjoy! Super Quick Hello

We are had such a blast in Oregon! Probably one of the most beautiful states I have been to! I even got in some scrappin' time! check out this view from my room... What a totally awesome view sitting at my table with the doors open and the breeze blowing! I loved it. Finished up this little Summer Vacation box and card for my cousin Shari. I'll post lots more details of our trip later. I just wanted to say "Hi" and show off this cute project! Hope all is well with everyone out there! Off to get on my treadmill and kit out my project for Steph and my's class on Tuesday night. Check out the projects under Be Creative the Simply Complicated Way. Day 7, 8, 9 & 10 and off to Oregon

Before I leave on Vacation I wanted to leave you with my last few entires for my 21 day challenge. I'll have alot of catching up to do when I get home! Maybe I can check in and get my journaling done at least... Enjoy!

Day 3, 4, 5 & 6 and a lost tooth!

Here are my journal entries for day 3, 4, 5 & 6. Honestly I am proud of myself for getting them done. I am crazy busy getting ready for vacation to Oregon. But this is an important challenge, for the sake of doing the art and being creative but more because I really want to be more patient and tolerant. I'm going to find my zen place!

21 Day Challenge Day 1 & 2

Leslie just dropped off my pictures from my photo shoot and they are so beautiful. She told me a story of her client tomorrow. She wanted to know how long it would be till she could see the proofs from her shoot tomorrow. She told her she would be gone in four weeks, I thought she meant like out of town, but she meant she would be gone. Young kids, new house, found out in March she had cancer and now she has four precious weeks with her babies... Shook me to the core, I am just aching and crying for this soul that I don't even know. It just reminds me how improtant this goal I have set for my 21 day challenge is. Be more patient. I think i'll be thinking about this mom everytime I want to lose it. Here are my journal entries for Day 1 and 2 .

Here is another LO I made of my favorite littlest girlie, Keely. I just love this little one like my own. She reminds me so much of Niguel when she was little.

Creative juices

The  creative juices are just flowin' in my house. Recommiting myself to creating has been great therapy to get me out of my slump! Where are my bloggers??? I haven't heard from anyone!!! Here's what I created today.  This is my journal for Rhonnas 21 Day Challenge. I am challenging myself to be more patient, to show more tolerance, to be more flexible, to lose my temper less often.  I'll post my page tomorrow. I am so in to all my new paints and its not near dry enough to scan yet. Till then You'll have to just check out my journal cover. Also here are two more pages for my family album. I decided to photo them since you couldn't see the whole thing on the scan.

Heres a funny story for the night... my mom gives me this newspaper article that says that soft lunch boxes may contain lead. The CPSC orders mfgs to stop but mfgs claim that a child would have to lick the lunchbox 600 times each day for 30-40 days in order to be exposed to a dangerous level of lead. After reading this I realize that Kylah is in serious danger. Paper sacks for her from now on.
