Today I said goodbye to a good friend. Known in our home as Bye Bye Car. (yes all our cars have names, thanks to the girls). I brought my babies home in this car and drove it for 8 years. It never gave me one bit of problems. Ever faithful, driving me in my little four mile circle around Rancho. It was time for us to part for better safety features, doors that didn't leak, and he was threatening to lose his air conditioner. Randy had grown tired of all the creaks and rattles and coke stains. Pretty much everything that made it mine. Bye Bye was recently replaced by a brand new shiny Sequioa, that has already spent more time in the shop than Bye Bye ever did. Tonight we drove around the neighborhood twice and I cried the whole time. Saying goodbye to a friend is hard. The girls and I will miss you! Hopefully Smokey will be home soon and receive his little eyeballs for the back window and we can start enjoying our new ride.
P.S. Yes I feel like a psycho being so attached to a car!
Deena,
I was browsing through your "favorite shots" and loved all the latest pic's. I especially love the ones with your mom! I had forgotten what she looked like. She looks like she hasn't aged a day since 20 yrs ago! She looks fabulous! Pass along the compliment to her- it always feels good to be told you look great!!! Keep up the good work, your blog is awesome!

Deena,
I have been so busy lately that I haven't had a chance to browse your blog recently. So, I just looked thru your "gallery"- these are beautiful. I especially love the ones with your girls- they are so creative! Keep up the good work. P.S. Write back soon with the latest in your life and I will do the same. Love, Cathy

Deena.
This is the funniest story I have EVER read about a car. Although I have to admit...I cried, and cried when I sold my first vehicle the "pepto bismo pink" volkswagon I drove until I was 25 or so!!! Good luck with the new ride!

Hey Deena,
This blog is really neat. I know I am not computer literate enough to know how to start one, but I'm a quick learner. You've inspired me to consider doing one too! Your cards and artistic creations are so beautiful. We enjoy your X-Mas cards every year- keep 'em coming. Anyway, I'll keep this in my "favorites" folder and check it periodically. Love & friendship always- 25 years & counting! Love, Cathy
