So Last night I had another FULL class. A super cute board book class for Valentines day called All You Need is Love. I've been teaching for three years and I am so happy each month to see more and more people return to my classes. It feels great to have regulars, and I love to meet new people and encourage them create special craft projects. The night went off great, like I said it was a full class, great project, and fabulous company! As I promised I have posted two 12x12 pages I made using the scraps from the board book. See Ya Bye Bye...
Today I said goodbye to a good friend. Known in our home as Bye Bye Car. (yes all our cars have names, thanks to the girls). I brought my babies home in this car and drove it for 8 years. It never gave me one bit of problems. Ever faithful, driving me in my little four mile circle around Rancho. It was time for us to part for better safety features, doors that didn't leak, and he was threatening to lose his air conditioner. Randy had grown tired of all the creaks and rattles and coke stains. Pretty much everything that made it mine. Bye Bye was recently replaced by a brand new shiny Sequioa, that has already spent more time in the shop than Bye Bye ever did. Tonight we drove around the neighborhood twice and I cried the whole time. Saying goodbye to a friend is hard. The girls and I will miss you! Hopefully Smokey will be home soon and receive his little eyeballs for the back window and we can start enjoying our new ride.
P.S. Yes I feel like a psycho being so attached to a car!

On a High
Ok so two days later I am still on a high from my card class Tuesday night. Why was this one so special? Yeah I was totally happy that I had 16 people, but i've had even more than that before, so that wasn't it. I think that it was that after a year of doing kits designed by another company and dwindling attendance I went back to my own designs and had a huge turn out with record time filling the class. They liked my work... MINE!!! To top the night off we finished early and I had 14 sign ups for my three valentine classes! I'll post those soon!!! Too Cool. Thanks everyone!

Its coming along
So its coming along. I worked on this for about two hours today. The best news of all is that my computer is staying connected, which is a good thing because I was geeting ready to really "connect" it. Like with my foot! Tomorrows challenge... find out how to make my cards show full size and not cut off, and how to put in the vertical lines next to side bars. We're almost ready to go public. Did I mention i'm right brained?
Ok so here is my first post. I am so lame when it comes to this computer thing. Its not like I can't figure it out, it's that I don't want to! I just want to pick cool colors, fonts and pictures and it all to look the way I want it to. I used to be so inclined to troubleshot anything, now every time I am faced with a techinical challenge I quickly retreat to my scrappin' closet and stare at my paper. Is that weird? OK truthfully I know it is. Well one hour is enough, tomorrow I will call Stephanie for her expert advice!
