Gracious Greetings - November Creative Cards

Hi Everyone! It finally feels like fall here in California, at least for a few days. This month's cards are a favorite color palette of mine and that make it super easy to create these beautiful cards. Here are some helpful tips and tricks for putting you cards together. For all the cards I used a brownish gray ink (Pumice Stone Distress Ink) to distress the edges of the cardstock. I also added black pen details. White envelopes are provided for all the cards except the small 3x3 card, that one has a small clear envelope.

Card 1- Fold cardstock to form card base. Attach patterned paper. Attach frame/label die cut. Attach die cut phrase "friends" Tie a bow and attach. Cut backs from flower buttons and attach. Attach small punched flowers. Tie a twine bow and attach.

Nov 1

Card 2 - Fold cardstock to form card base. Attach patterned paper. Attach strip of embossed cardstock. Attach bow (see below closeup) To create the bow, cut enough of the ribbon to wrap around the thickness of the bow, set aside. Touch the ends of the other piece of ribbon together, then I used some adhesive to secure it together, double sided adhesive works great for this. Then wrap the piece you cut around the center to cover the seam and secure with double sided adhesive. This makes a nice flat bow. Trim Sentiment and attach.
