Creative Cards - July

Hello July! I can't believe we are already well in to summer... I just wanted  to mention that if you're headed out on a vacation consider taking a card kit or two with you. They don't take up much space with just a little adhesive, ink and scissors. I enjoy being a little creative on the road, maybe at the hotel in the afternoon when my hubby or kids want to take a nap.

Ok... here we go, here are a few tips and tricks to putting your cards together. I've found that i've fallen back in to the habit of mentioning each step so i'm going to be conscious of only mentioning notable ideas. I'm sure you can figure out if you need to fold the cardstock :)

Card #1 - Add pop dots to the second scoop of ice cream. Trim the sentiment so that it ends under the ice cream cone and add ink if desired. Trim off edges of scallop border.

Card #2- Use hot glue to attach the button to the ribbon. Trim and ink sentiment and add the Aqua mat.

Card #3 Mat sentiment with green cardstock and attach with pop dots. I found it helpful to attach the bow and all the buttons with hot glue.

Card #4 ink edges of button card after trimming and also add ink to the scallop circle sentiment.
