Creative Cards March

Hi Everyone! Here are some extra tips and tricks to put your cards together this month.

Card 1 - The green cardstock comes pre folded. Trim the two blue scallop pieces to the same length as the teal patterned paper. Attach these pieces. Wrap ribbon around the card and tie in a bow. Attach butterfly, buttons and ribbon as shown. Attach yellow flower by placing it a little under the butterfly wing. Crumple up two newspaper flowers and attach as shown. On the flower near the ribbon add the small rhinestone in your kit. Trim and add sentiment, add pen detail as shown if desired. This card has a white insert and a white envelope.

March 11 card 1 

Card 2 - Fold navy blue cardstock in half so it opens from the side. Attach embossed white cardstock and patterned paper as shown. Attach white ric rac and trim off edges even with edges of card. Attach "smile" circle to scallop circle and add brad, attach to card. Attach butterfly and flower. Thread button with floss and attach to flower. This card has a white insert and a white envelope.

March 11 card 2 

Card 3 - Fold white cardstock in half so that the opening is at the bottom. Attach patterned paper as shown. Attach Green flower die cut, if yours is cut off on te petals don't worry you'll be covering this up. Trim stem off the yellow polka dot flower and attach right over the green part of the previously attached flower die cut. Attach blue center and white button with floss. Trim sentiment and mat with blue polka dot patterned paper. Trim edges to be even with the card if necessary. This card has a white envelope.

March 11 card 3 

Card 4 -Fold yellow cardstock in half. Trim printed flower picture leaving a 1/8th inch of white border. Attach picture. Add buttons and bow as shown. Trim sentiment and attach. Add pen detail if desired. This card has a white insert and a clear envelope.

March 11 card 4 

Card 5 - Fold green cardstock in half and attach patterned paper. Trim embossed bingo cardstock down with scissors (using paper trimmer often causes it to tear). Attach embossed paper. Wrap ribbon around card and tie in a bow. Attach button under the ribbon. This card has a white insert and a clear envelope.

March card 11 card 5 

Card 6 -  Fold cardstock and attach patterned paper. Take the white scallop die cut and fold randomly, then put down a strip of adhesive and attach the folded scallop border. This will allow part of the border to pop up. If you want to skip this and just lay it down flat feel free to do that and just trim off the edges to be even with the card. Trim sentiment and mat with yellow cardstock, attach with pop dots. Add pen detail  if desired. Thread buttons with floss and attach as shown. Tie ribbon in a bow and attach. This card has a white insert and a white envelope.
