Creative Cards Homeschool Kit - July

Hello Homeschool Friends... tying out something new this month. Some tips about the cards and some additional shots of the cards. Hope you find this helpful.

For this card I tied three simple consecutive knots in the thin blue satin ribbon. Then I wrapped it around the patterned paper and taped it to the back before I attached the patterned paper to the card base.

For the blue grosgrain ribbon I attached it with double sided adhesive and then trimmed off the ends even with the edges of the card.

Attach the sentiment with a pop-dot.

Paper is new from Bo-Bunny.

The brown cherry stem requires no trimming. Attach the green leaves directly over the brown leaves and attach to the card.

Tie the pink grosgrain ribbon in a knot and attach it between the leaves. Thread the green floss through the buttons and tie in a knot.

Glue the buttons to the cherry stems with a clear drying liquid glue like Tacky glue.

Attach the sentiment with a pop-dot.

Paper is by Doodlebug

This card is a Sizzix die cut. Its a Bigz XL die.

Fold the card on the crease line. If you don't see it start to bend the card and it should appear.

Attach the green textured paper to the inside of the card.

Trim away the flowers from the red and yellow die cut pieces and attach over the matching blue flowers on the card. Attach buttons.

Nothing to hard about this card. Just sandwich the black cardstock between the red and green pieces of the watermelon and attach to the card.

After the glue has dried on your white Flowers grab the edges and pull them towards the center of the flowers to make them stand up a bit. It just adds a little more to the flower.

This card doesn't have a white piece for the inside. Paper from Lasting impressions.

Attach the flip flop to patterned paper with pop-dots. Paper is Bo-Bunny

Some add'l info that you might like.

I like to use a liquid glue like Tacky glue to secure elements like buttons, ribbon bows, and anything heavy. It takes a bit longer to dry but it will be secure forever.

I know some of you are beginners so if you don't know what pop-dots are they are little pieces of foam with adhesive on both sides. Check them out Here

Each of your cards has a white cardstock piece for the inside of the card so you have a nice mat to write on, unless the card is already white.

Each of your cards comes with an envelope. Sometimes I include clear envelopes. These are really fun for handmade cards. They always show them off nicely. You can mail them like any other envelope just stick a white avery label on the outside.

Have fun and if yo have any questions please email me any time.
