I spent almost a whole month last December planning out this year, setting goals and getting organized and on track. A big part of that was finishing up Valentine kits and classes, that got accomplished last week. So really I am just getting started on my plan for the year this week.
I'll be adding two new series to my blogging schedule. First up is "Life Beautified", I'll be blogging about pretty things I do around my house and craft room, beautiful places I visit and beautiful memories I make with family and friends.
My craft room has been seriously lacking in the pretty arena, two years ago I moved to the garage HERE and then and until last week I have been complaining that I had no vertical space. It was really a pain. Everyone knows when you need more space you go up.
I finally decided on crates. Now I have two block of 4 crates that my husband glued together for me. I got some short knobs to attach to the bottom. It makes all the differnce because I still have full use of the table underneath to slide papers under.
They are working out perfectly... Now I have a space to display projects, hold some of my most used tools and is the perfect place for all my grandmas mason jars, which i'm sure I will fill up in no time!
Remember I said my craft room is in the garage. Well one thing I enjoy about being in California is that I can have my garage door open almost every day and it feels like I am crafting outside. I love that because I adore being outside. What I don't adore is that everyone that drives by or walks by can see me working... but not anymore because I have this awesome screen. But don't be fooled neighbors I can still see perfectly between the slats!
Just getting started so stay tuned for lots more posts about making things more beautiful!

great idea, can't wait to see more pics of your space.

Hi nicole... I got them at Joanns. They are the white ash ones, so they aren't so yellow. I may paint them someday, we'll see.
