Year Three

This is my third year using this envelope system for my holiday gift shopping. I LOVE it!!!

Here's how I did it...

Place two envelopes seam to seam with the openings facing out. Add packing tape to create a hinge, then flip it over and add packing tape to the other side so it's not sticky and super strong.

Decorate the outside with some simple holiday papers and a Saying about Christmas.

Decorate the inside with more coordinating holiday papers, die cuts and another printed poem.

As you can see in the photo I use one side for cash and the other side to save all my receipts. Can't even tell you how handy having all my receipts corraled has been!

This project takes all of about 10 minutes... give it a try. :)

I love it! How did I miss this previous post? What a great idea to keep those holiday receipts b/c I'm always having to return something and then I can't find the receipt. Going to have to remember this for next year. Better yet, maybe I'll make it now!
