 I'm thinking these few days between Christmas and New Years are my favorite week of the year. I love to reflect on the past year and make big plans for the new year coming.

I spotted this plate in my favorite eye candy store a few weeks ago and I haven't stopped thinking about these words since.

Making gingerbread houses... my girls totally destroyed the kitchen this afternoon. They are really cute!

My mom gifted me with my Grandmas cookie cutters. I love them so much... I just wish Grandma was still using them, we must have made hundreds of these together when I was over to her house. May have to pack them up and take the girls over to her house for a cookie making visit after Christmas.
 

The big day is almost here... 5 days to go

I've been noticing around the blog world that blogs are being updated less and readership is down. Can't be because we are all so busy getting ready for the holidays could it???

I'm going to keep it simple for the next few days and do my version of December Daily with you... I'll share a simple photo a day of our countdown to Christmas...

This weekend Niguel left her sketch pad open on our craft table and I read one of the most beautiful things she has ever written. I immediately asked her if she had read or saw this somewhere and she said "nope, I made it up from things i've learned" Can't believe she's 12!

If I knew just one of these things at 12 my life and my Moms life would have been alot easier. Later on she made it in to a mini book, yep she's crafty too!

News from my week + Kits + holiday business

Its Saturday morning... I'm up way before the rest of the family. Trying to get in a little work time so I can step away from the computer today and enjoy some time with my family.

I came to blog this morning and realized i had only blogged once this week... somewhere lost in a whirlwind of holiday activity and deadlines that don't stop just because its December.

So lets start with kits... but keep reading because there is more from my week below.

December Kits are shipped out to subscribers... even a little early... Amen for that, it makes me a very very happy!

Maybe you need a kit for yourself or as a gift? They are ready to ship out the very day you order. No subscription commitments... its my little gift to you for the holidays. This month there are 6 cards in the kit, Animal prints,embossed animal prints, fuzzy leopard print buttons and a warm combination of browns, greys and silvers. The rest of my week wrapped up like this... On monday I drove up to the ATM at my bank and found that someone had left their bank card and 40$ cash sitting in the machine. I thought about this lady and how she must have alot on her mind. So I pulled around and took her money and card in to the bank to return it and did my transaction at the window.

Tuesday I finished up my classes for the year. It was a fun night filled with all my favorite customers and friends. Now I have a few weeks to get planning my valentine classes.

Wednesday I had quite a scare... I left my purse in a shopping cart! It was full of my phone, all my Christmas shopping money, my weekly spending cash and a pretty expensive purse. I drove all the way home from the grocery store and back to find my purse sitting right in the cart where I left it.

Thursday night brought about some news of big change at my work and sadness for how someone has been wronged. So so wrong and sad. But thats all i'll share about that.

Friday finally settled my week and I had a chance to tie up some loose ends and wash my very dirty car!

So that's it my week in short and I sure enjoyed that good purse Karma from Monday. Hope you all had a great week and are enjoying some holiday fun with your families this weekend.
