This is just one of the many cute cards that will be included in my May kit. Read on to see how you can get started as part of my homeschool group!
Here is a very kind comment from my friend Karla!
"Ladies, you're gonna love Deena's cards!! they are simply elegant. i found her site about 3 months ago, and got hooked right away. i've been scrapbooking for about 10 years, and i have thoroughly enjoyed Deena's kits. she sneaks in some specialty cards now and again on this here blog(LOVE that)and they are too cute as well. the pictures/instructions are clear and make assembly very simple. and she's right, just try to find 5 HOMEMADE cards for $20 bucks!! i've given a number of her cards out and they get ooooh'd and awwwww'd like crazy!! my recommendation: sign up! you won't be sorry!"
Have you ever been home-schooled? Yes? No? Well here's your chance. After much consideration I have decided to expand my monthly Creative Cards class to those that are out of my area and or can't make it to my home store every month. This will be the 3nd quarter i'm offering my kits, I met so many sweet ladies the last six months I would love to add you to my group and get to know you too! I have really thought this through and I know it seems like there are alot of details but honestly its pretty simple, I just wanted it to be organized. Here is the information in question and answer form.
What will I get each month? You will receive supplies to make 5 cards. 99.9% of all the parts and pieces are cut to size so there is no measuring.
How is this Kit different than others? Some kits are a selection of papers and supplies and its up to you to create something from the contents. With my "Home-school" kits the ideas are already created for you, but you are welcome to add or change anything. All you have to do is assemble them and enjoy.
What do I have to supply? Pretty much just the basics. Scissors, adhesive, and maybe a paper trimmer. Occasionally you may need glitter or something that won't transport in a kit.
Are there directions? Generally there are no written instructions, unless I feel something warrants it. I will send a clear color copy of each card so that you can visually find where everything goes.
Do I have to be a scrapper/crafter?In my opinion "No". These would be well suited for a beginner, but creative enough for a veteran crafter.
What kind of cards will I get? Each month I do a variety of cards. Almost always a birthday card, friendship, thinking of you, etc. If there is a specific holiday I usually will cover that the month prior, but I try to make it general so you can use it for something else if you don't celebrate that specific holiday. You can go to the sidebar of this blog and click on my cards to see my card gallery, that should give you an idea of my style.
How much is the kit? The kits are $20.00 monthly, including shipping. Try buying 5 cards at Hallmark for that. :)
What is the commitment? I would kindly ask that those interested commit for three months. I am currently taking sign ups for April May and June.
How will I be billed? There are two options... first you can send me a check or second I can invoice you monthly through paypal and that way you can pay with your credit card. You can let me know.
When will the kits be ready? The kits will be ready on the 10th of each month. On the first of the month I will send out a paypal request unless you have told me you are sending a check. As soon as I receive your payment I will send out your kit.
I want to sign up... How do I do that? Send me an email to mailto:zigszoo@cox.net put "Creative Cards Home-school" in the subject line and let me know that you want to sign up for the next three months. Currently I am excepting sign ups for Apr-Jun 2009. If the link does not work for you either leave me a comment with your email address and I will contact you or just type zigszoo@cox.net into your email homepage.
