Happy Halloween

Today the girls are off from school. Yeah! It will be a busy day. Bills already paid and budget updated, check! Laundry from yesterday fluffing to be folded as soon as i'm done with this post. Dog sleeping on bed, check! Need to start setting out clothes for trip in one week! Work on class kits a bit. Take the girls to ride Rusty, if its not raining. Its still dark outside so I can't tell but weather man says maybe. Hey it has been over 90 all week so why wouldn't it rain today???? Crazy California! Need something easy for dinner! Final touches for Trick or Treating. Need an appetizer for the post Trick or Treating Social with the neighbors. Oh and most important LOVE ON THESE GIRLS (until they can't stand it anymore). I have to start banking extra love time to tide me over while i'm away! Oh yes and I can't forget to take Kylah to Petsmart. Kylah is expecting! Expecting her tadpoles in the mail any day! On the creative front here is a little Starbucks cup I made to go along with my class kits for my last Christmas Card class of the year next Tuesday. Back up in running with photos

Aaaaahhhhhh.... I got my photos back.... so here we GOoooooo!

For those of you that were in class Tuesday night and those looking forward to receiving these kits in the mail, thanks so much for coming!Here is a picture of the little extras that go along with the note cards!

Last friday night we went to see my family and my cousin was home from Ukraine, with his wife and little guy Dietrich! It was so nice to reconnect with them. Remember this little guy from his one year birthday last year?

 

Here he is one year later just after his second birthday. I was so happy when we walked in and he knew Niguel and Kylah right away and called them by name... "Kywa" (pretty close little one), and "Needuck" (made me laugh every time I heard it)! He didn't let the girls out of his sight all night and they were so smitten with him as well!

Oh yes and we went to the 2nd annual pumpkin carving at Stephs house! So much fun!

OK  I have got to go! Niguel is in the car ready to go to school! I better skat before she figures out how to drive. Oh, and i'm off to one of my favorite places this morning... Shinoda Wholesale design warehouse!

Got Pictures?

I really have so many things to share with you, but how do I do that with no pictures? It seems my card reader has taken an early retirement and my computer has resigned from its position as mediator between my camera and my software. So today I will share with you the top 5 reasons I don't have time to figure it all out.

#5 I'm working for Sizzix today! I love my job with Sizzix, everyone there is a joy to be around.

#4 I have a class tonight! I feel so blessed to have 40 gals joining me to make up the notecard kits I've been working so long on!

#3 I have a terrible hankering for some banana bread, and a freezer fell of overripe bananas. Did you know that you can save them in the freezer till you want to make the banana bread? I will be making some of that this afternoon!

#2 The girls have their report cards coming up and one of my girlies has some math timed test to pass and a few more accelerated reader points to get. I'll give you one guess which girlie it is??? I only have two girls so right there you are at 50% and  if you have EVER read my blog your odds of getting this right are at least 95%.

#1 I leave on my cruise in 11 days and I have really important things to do like go tanning. (I know its bad for me, but lets face it tan chub looks better than white chub)

There is no order to my list so please don't think I have my priorities out of whack.

Stopping in to say hi! My dang computer wouldn't download pictures this morning. I ran out of  time. I'll have a new post tonight... so many fun things with family, crafting, and can I just say I am pretty caught up and actually ahead for once! Yes, i'm knocking on wood! Hope your weekend was a good one!

No good title

I can never think of any good snazzy titles for my blog post. Today i'll keep it short and sweet. I'm up to my elbows in supplies and my craft room needs some lovin' and cleaning. Then there's the envelopes I need to order, man I hope I didn't wait one day too long. Oh and I have to call Travelocitys consumer relations to try to resolve a problem with my last trip, we were overcharged and its been since July trying to resolve it. I have two things to say first I will never use travelocity again and second their customer service dept is in India (you may understand my aggrivation now).I also have to get 2 pounds of salt for kylah to make dough for this california landscape project she is doing at school. I just sent Kylah to school and forgot she wanted to retake her school pictures. I hope she doesn't cause I forgot it was happening and I didn't curl her hair. Anyway i'm going on and on, i'll stop I have to go find envelopes and a heck of alot of salt. Oh, and my bestest pal Steph is home and i've got to see her today sometime! I wish I had something fun to show you but not today my blog friends, tomorrow!  Have a good one!

Just a Note Note Cards

Remember a couple posts back when I showed you those giant stacks of paper? Well here is what they became, the kits are all finished for my 4th note card class this year. I'm so proud of this new series. Every class has been sold out and I am very thankful to Jen and Erin (they're my customers that suggested this new class series). Can't wait to have class next week, if you're in the area and would like to come Tuesday October 28th please call 949-888-7151 to sign up. If you're out of the area kits are avaliable, you can EMAIL me. The class or kits are $24. The kit contains supplies to make both boxes, and two sets of 8 note cards to put in the boxes. They'd make great hostess gifts, teacher gifts or co-worker gifts for the holidays coming up.

Over the weekend I finished up kitting a class and had some left overs of my very most favorite paper company Scenic Route. I made this quick page with some old pictures from Hawaii that I have always loved and never had time to scrap.

 

 

And with the left over scraps from the page I made a little card.

 

While I was making these projects I was thinking about Steph because these are totally "her colors", and the very best thing happened, Steph  called me from Africa. She sounded great, and very happy. I was sssssooooooo jealous when she told me she saw the African big 5 on her safari ( Lion, Jaguar, cape buffalo, rhino and elephant), so green with envy! She is homesick and I am ready for her to come home, I miss my crafty friend. She'll be home in a couple of days.

Boo

I tore through my die cut scrap box last night grabbed a few things and made up this card. I can't tell you how nice it is to have everything so organized, it makes making something quickly very easy.

Pies with Grandma

While I was editing some photos this morning I came across these pictures from this summer. I had put them into my favorite shots album but this day was totally blog worthy so todays the day! Towards the end of summer the girls and I met my mom at my grandmas house to make some pies. My Grandma makes some awesome pies. I remember making them with her all the time when I was little. I used to pick blackberries off the bushes and bring them in for pie, or my other set of Grandparents would send these super tart apples from their yard for her to make a pie. This day was my girls turn to get in on the fun. Theres just something special about Grandmas that I love. So heres my Grandma Kitty in action.
