Card Give Away

The MAY KIT includes this card... one of my fav's. It's so simple with a cute little button and I used this Sizzix Card Front. What's so cool about this die is that you get two card fronts on one die. You cut a piece of cardstock that is an A2 size (4.25x5.5), fold it in half and then line it up on the die and run it though your machine. Then you'll have this awesome edged card. I have a little bit of fondness for this card die since I desinged it to go with my Send It With Style line a couple years back. Looks like its still going strong still in the sizzix line up!

Pa Pa Paper Strips

This is what I have been loving making with all the millions of paper strips I have...

Start by adhering coordinating paper strips to a solid piece of cardstock.

Then Die cut it... Hearts are my favorites!

Then turn it in to a card with some other coordinating papers.

And send it to someone you love. TGIF!

 

More Grab Boxes and a Winner

Thanks for all the love you showed for my May kit and the Free Add on Kit for May. I've been packing up orders over the weekend as they came in and in between I did a little organizing. Old Stuff

I went through my craft room while doing a little cleaning (see yesterdays post) and I ran across a couple things that I have collected along the way that i've never used and paired them with a few things I use every single time I sit down to craft. I use this ink pad all the time, it smells lie graham crackers, maybe thats why I always use it. And these American Craft pens, I love them and also use them daily.

But lets get to the fun stuff... the Close To My Heart rubber stamps, I got those when I was a demonstrator for them. That was probably like 2000-2001 ish??? And the foam stamps, those babies are Little Davis and Making Memories. Little Davis has been out of business forever so I know I've had those just about as long! The water colors and the water color paper, I got those one day at the craft store... I had decided I was going to be a water color painter! The next week I bought clay I think, so I could become a clay artist :)

Then I tore out a bunch of water color papers and made something!

Then I just sat there in my chair and was glad I accomplished something.

Just a peek

I've been working on a blog post in my head for over a week. I can't get all the words out, i'll get there. So I thought i'd give you a peek in to my world, my creative space. It's a mess... but i've been working on making it more me... more of the things I love.

One of the best things about having my space in the garage is when the sun is shining and I can work in the sunlight. I love natural light!!!

Look... look quick, I bet within minutes of this photo being taken this space will be piled with stuff again!

I'm starting to feel like I can get back to blogging more. Come back and see tomorrow :)
